One of the most crucial academic subjects for an individual's education is history for it aids me to understand differences on a greater scale. The interactions our ancestors had with people who lived differently from themselves can teach us lessons that are both beneficial and detrimental. In a world where diversity is valued regardless of origin, knowing how earlier societies integrated is essential to furthering the progress of humanity’s future.
