Baquiran's Educational Philosophy

I grew up believing that learning was limited to what we could acquire on our own and what we could learn from our teachers, but as time goes on, I'm gradually coming to understand that learning is a process in which the knowledge and information we have been offered are  becoming more complex and should be utilized through application. For me, learning is a procedure by which we accumulate knowledge and information from many sources and experiences. Furthermore, the information that professionals strive to instill in us, our surroundings, our parents—who have raised us and are responsible for directing our minds toward morality—and our peers—who also play a role in sharing different experiences that may help us develop both intellectually and emotionally—all have an impact on the new knowledge we acquire. These aspects have an essential function in fostering the development of our beliefs so that we can learn from the many viewpoints and ideas of the people and situations we come across. Learning is the process by which we acquire new information that may impact our values and worldview. We come across unexpected situations and people with diverse life orientations who share their thoughts and notions with us, potentially enhancing our own viewpoint. The realization that there are a variety of perspectives, cultures, beliefs, and practices are strengthened by these experiences, which also make us more aware of how these ideals may be employed to enhance society or the world as a whole. Collaborating and thriving with others allows us to enhance the understanding we have already gained and expand beyond it. A cooperative learning environment is fostered by teachers, students, and the institution itself through a collaborative effort aimed at creating a sustainable development that fosters improved communication and cooperation. Through the creation of this educational setting, we are now empowered to further develop students' minds, foster their increased awareness of their surroundings, which could enhance theirperspectives, and enable them to become more engaged learners who are able to communicate new ideas and concepts to their peers and the surrounding community. This setting intends to encourage a collaborative approach in which students, teachers, and the institution are actively involved in communicating ideas and knowledge in order to generate innovative concepts and accomplish an integrated goal that enhances the educational experience for students. A collaborative learning environment where facilitators and students are actively working together to share experience and expand ideals while enhancing their own learnings. They also collaborate to create an enhanced setting which promotes mutual communication amongst individuals toward a shared objective. In addition to enabling students and teachers accomplish a shared goal of elaborating on their ideals and strengthening their minds to create new concepts that will improve their knowledge, this approach fosters a cooperative learning environment that enables others to broaden their own perspectives as they come into interaction with fresh thoughts and experiences. An ideal educational setting where learners and educators are empowered to collaborate on contributing ideas and experiences and to expand their understanding of topics.

A toddler would never be able to speak properly without guidance; a dog would  never be able to catch a flying frisbee without training; an elderly woman in the twenty-first century would not be able to use a smartphone unless her child or granddaughter showed her how; a college student would not be able to begin his case study without professional instruction; and a jeepney barker would not be able to persuade a passenger to ride until he observed someone doing it or received instruction. Teaching takes place anywhere in all corners of the world, and anyone can impart knowledge to everybody. We are all empowered to show and teach people who are in need or who are seeking guidance. Teaching takes place in a variety of situations, whereas an individual can pass on information or a life experience to a person who asks about something they aren't familiar with. The world we live in is changing, which is why teaching occurs. A lot of developments are occurring and evolving each day, and fresh concepts and theories are emerging that all individuals should be aware of in order to broaden their understanding of things. Teaching is a privilege that enables anyone to share their expertise with others who are looking for guidance or information or who are requesting additional understanding in order to help them reach their goals without the requirement for professional training. My aspiration is to become a teacher with the goal of developing a collaborative learning environment where learners collaborate with each other towards achieving a shared goal. This approach not only promotes the growth of students but also creates a secure environment in which teachers, institutions, and the community work collaboratively to create innovative ideas and concepts that have the capability to strengthen each person's educational experience. As an aspiring educator, there are several factors that must be taken into account to create a collaborative environment for learning in order to foster this method. One of the things that needs to be highlighted is encouraging students to participate actively in activities. Empowering them establish unique connections with their peers and become more proactive will enable them to work effectively on creating new concepts and ideas that will expand their understanding. This approach is optimal because it enables students and facilitators develop deeper connections with one another. Students can now participate collaboratively with their peers because they have a common goal as a result to the establishment of a stimulating learning environment. As a future teacher, it is my duty to evaluate the students' skills and provide them with reflections that enable them to consider and analyze their experiences working together, as well as to encourage them to examine their personal and their peers' collaborative abilities.

Among my qualities as an aspiring educator are adaptability and a willingness to make adjustments for my students. In order to encourage students to become more involved in their education and to give them a sense of community through collaborative activities, creating a collaborative learning environment is a lengthy process that should be maintained continuously. I envision that by developing a cooperative approach, my students will be able to work collectively to accomplish shared objectives, engage in joint endeavors that will strengthen their interpersonal and communication skills, and develop a collaborative environment where students actively participate in the class. Establishing standards to guide students and give them feedback on their cooperative learning activities is essential for fostering a collaborative learning environment. An aim at which they can develop effective interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. Only by continuously engaging in collaborative endeavors that strengthen and enhance these skills will they be able to cultivate these qualities. These attributes will undoubtedly benefit them in the future for the reason these particular competencies is essential for a variety of professions. An engaged methods that could improve students' acquisition of these standards needs to be implemented for attaining these objectives. Enabling students an opportunity to serve in leadership roles in a group will enable them to develop the kind of leadership skills that can fortify bonds among team members and provide them the confidence to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Students' interpersonal skills can be developed by actively participating in group activities, offering ideas, and listening to others without disregarding their opinions. This will help students develop a greater understanding of the value of shared objectives and the success of the group as a whole. An effective communication skillset enables learners to convey their thoughts efficiently and clearly, actively listen to their instructors and fellow students while recognizing their opinions, as well as collaborate together to accomplish tasks that can enhance their collaborative learning competencies. As future educators, it is critical for us to evaluate students' participation in different endeavors that could improve their collaborative process of learning and to envision their abilities in order to establish a collaborative learning environment. Producing tasks and activities which comply with established standards is essential in developing a collaborative learning environment that is long-lasting and enhances students' learning. This ensures that students acquire the understanding and abilities they need to become more engaged citizens in the future. One of the most important things to accomplish is to make sure that every student participates actively in group discussions, tasks, and endeavors and makes significant contributions to the collaborative method of learning. This will help to create a sustainable process for educational development.

The effective application of collaborative learning necessitates the creation of a favorable learning atmosphere, engaging tasks, and student participation in discussions in class. Students are now able to connect with their peers, share ideas without disregarding the opinions of others, and cooperate with activities that necessitate the collaboration of the entire group in order accomplish the task at hand. Creating endeavors that encourage teamwork, interaction, and shared knowledge between learners is an efficient method toward developing a collaborative learning environment. Providing feedback and criticism to students is also crucial, as it allows them to assess where they can make improvements, build on their strengths, and address their weaknesses. Enabling students an opportunity to think concerning their group endeavors will enable them to gain a deeper understanding of the subject, become more self-aware, and develop their collaborative skills as they progress. Students can reflect on their own abilities to enhance their skills by being conscious of their areas of strength and growth. I used to collaborate with my peers for the reason that it enabled me acquire new concepts and ideas that expanded my understanding of certain subjects. Participating actively in discussions as a student helps me to improve my communication abilities, which is helpful when working with other students. One of my traits is my ability to be adaptable and flexible to various circumstances, which helps me to become more conscious of the changes that are taking place during collaborative work and avoid getting into a conflict with my group.

As a future teacher, my primary goals are to explore how to effectively and efficiently promote my students' collaborative learning. This method is an essential component of the learning process because it facilitates students recognize the opinions of others and helps them become more conscious of the differences they have with their group. Through collaboration in groups, students can now contribute their own experiences and knowledge to the group, which is crucial for developing new concepts and ideas that will improve their interpersonal and communication skills. In order for students to share their own thoughts and concepts about the changes occurring in their surroundings with their group and develop new ideas that could improve their capabilities and skills as competent students who are actively collaborating with their peers, it is also crucial to take into consideration the provision of timely, relevant, and purposeful tasks. In order for students to collaborate with their peers to improve their collaborative learning, it is essential to create a secure and encouraging atmosphere for learning for them to feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and ideas with one another. Students' comprehension of the subject matter will be improved by creating an inclusive classroom environment and engaging them in stimulating activities that teach cooperation and respect among group members. Students' cooperation in identifying the challenges that needed to be resolved in group activities is improved when precise directions on collaborative abilities like efficient communication and decision-making are established. This also demonstrates the significance of accountability within the group. Encouraging all participants to actively participate in group discussions while offering guidance when necessary will help students develop their perspectives and improve their collaborative learning.
